MAY  2013
On arrival back in Freo from Townsville Blue buys a satellite TV dish and decoder box which is fitted up and tested. All good.
Leave Freo 15th May for Bridgetown, this is a very picturesque area but very cold in winter. The locals affectionately call it "Fridgetown", it was 6 deg each morning and quite a bit of rain while there.

Checked out surrounding area and caught up with friends made while hot air ballooning in Marreba several years ago. They have a very nice acreage property near Nannup and after a great day we came away loaded with fruit, home made spreads and soup for dinner, yum, thanks Geoff and Elaine.

Monday 20th May we set out again and camped at Windy Harbour for the night, it's about 30 Ks off the highway very attractive spot with just a few fishing shacks but subject to wild winds and storms.

Then to Walpole where we set up camp at Peacfull Bay  (about 25ks  out of Walpole).  From here we visited the Valley of the Giants Tree Top walk in the Tingle Wood forest, coastal beaches, Thurlby herb farm, Denmark and fished for whiting in the bay. This is a very nice spot, we were lucky to have good weather for  the week we stopped.
