Communication
Arrived back in Perth 23rd March just in time to see the last day of the Caravan show.
We moved back into the park we left at Woodmans Point just south of Fremantle.
Over easter we enjoyed the street arts festival in Freo, international
and Australian talent was on show and some was exceptional.
These individuals and groups are essentially busking at this time and
the crowds responded very generously to the talent, $5-10 and 20's were more than common in the hat at the end of performances.
Bagpipes with a twist and different beat, This guy had gas pipes rigged to the pipe ends that shot out a flame on the high notes
This
one was able to get his jacket off, drop his daks and get them on again
while all the time juggling his things. He never touched the pants, got
them back up by only moving and contorting his legs, amazing to watch.
Same guy has this mechanical remote controlled dog with a speaker that changes and transmits his voice.
It moves about the crowd chatting to all with a mixture of adult and
kids humour, very clever. Note the appendages under the tail.
The two lolly pop girls showed a great deal of skill while being amusing and entertaining
We've enjoyed exploring the different areas of Perth, the coastal areas and the hill suburbs on the escarpment to the east. Perth
has grown very quickly and is struggling to keep up with transport
corridors, roads can be impossible especially at peak times.
Cottesloe beach on a nice day, watch out for the white pointers
Have taken a few trips to the south exploring Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton.
We Moved to Busselton on 7th April , booked into Council park on water
front,Geographe Bay, (Kookaburra Van Park). Checked out neighboring
Dunsbourough and Cape Naturaliste.
Visited some of the local wineries, Margaret River, coastal beaches and townships.
This area is very popular with tourists and has become quite
commercialized and trendy, real estate is catching up with Perth prices
and some areas are already up there.
We moved down to Augusta (Cape Leeuwin) on the south coast corner for a few days
before going back to Fremantle for a week while Blue flew back to
Townsville again for a teaching commitment leaving Wendy to battle the storms
while he was away, Wendy doesn't enjoy storms, not happy, Blue returns
11th May to advice she will not be left alone again!!

Busselton Jetty

Busselton jetty looking back to beach.
The jetty is about 1.8 kls long with an underwater observatory at end.
There is a rail line and a mini train taking tourists to the observatory.
Our caravan park is just out of picture to the left.

Picture is a bit dark but this is in the observatory at the end of Busselton jetty

They say a pic is worth a thousand words

Cowaramup is a small trendy township near Margaret River
There are lots of these in town, the Vintage pic also from here.

Cape Leeuwin light house, lots of history here.
We did the tour to the top.

The South West corner at Leeuwin where the oceans meet.
